I have no desire to sell... But there was one other car at Porsche of Monmouth that did something similar to this and it sold for a premium. there was actually a bidding war.

makes sense to me. This is basically a more interesting heritage interior. Please do share photos when the work is complete!

Subscribed. Can you retain ventilation if you have that option?

That would be amazing, but I don't think that you can. All of the factory fabric seat center options (Heritage interior - pepita or corduroy, 991 50th Anniversary, etc.) do not let you keep ventilation.

If we could keep ventilation and do fabric centers I'd do it right away. Hopefully I'm wrong because I'd like to do this.

Exactly what I was thinking. BUT what if these holes would allow the ventilation?

Drooooool. I've seen this style center done by Justin Placek on a 991.2 speedster in person and I don't think it is an open enough design to allow ventilation to work, but if it does... holy cow! Maybe message them on IG?

I do not have ventilation in my seats (I have the GT interior and it was not offered). I do have heated seats and there is NO issue at all, but you are correct, it will NOT work with Ventilated seats (which is why i opted to not get them).

Hello,

Heated seats will work / function properly when changing over to the cloth / fabric centers.

The company Relicate in New York as mentioned above has many different Porsche fabric selections that they offer. You can order sample pieces from them and are great to deal with.

I used Relicate to acquire one of the three Porsche Factory plaids that were originally offered on the original in 1975 930 Turbo.

A few pictures of my Cedar Green Buffalo Lather with plaid seat inlays / inserts in my Sport Seat Plus that still have the heated seat feature properly functioning.

I think he means that the top photo in your original post is a 991 generation 911 but it's captioned as a 2020 992 GTS
