Default Methods for Cleaning and Maintaining Plastic Exterior Trim

any of you have any ways to get the plastic trim pieces (especially the rear bumper) of your 992? seem like everything i use doesn't get it clean or leaves a weird film on it.

specific details please, name of cleaning product, etc.

many thanks!

I use a clean damp cloth-that's it. Products like Mothers Back to Black are only temporary fixes.

(On the interior piano black plastic rub lightly)

Use a very diluted All purpose cleaner. Once you get it cleaned and dried, use CarPro Dlux to treat the plastic parts. It is easy to put on and basically seals the plastic like a ceramic coating. Water, dirt etc... will bead off of it. I reapply once a year.

After cleaning with degreaser and, if needed, iron fallout remover (both from Gtechniq) I've had good luck with Cerakote Trim Coat.

I am the last person you should take advice on cleaning and detailing from, but I use Optimum No Rise Blue diluted in a spray bottle
