I am hoping to switch from red to black calipers on my 992 C4S. Rather than painting them I was wondering if anyone out there would want to swap (long shot I know) so we both keep OEM finishes? If you’re looking for red, it would be a win-win. I am willing to meet and cover price of any labor to swap.
It's so much more work to physically swap them than just having a high-end detailer paint them for you. With the right shop, they'll look 100% OEM down to the decals. With painting, you also don't run the risk of the calipers getting lost in shipping and other nightmares.

I have to agree and promote this thinking... There are so many incredible body/paint shops that specialize in brake caliper painting. I have had many sets repainted or color changed, and they can order the exact decal, exact paint colors etc... And do the job in many cases for no more than around $500-700. Seriously just go get them painted, its not worth the hassle of removal, shipping, reinstall etc.
