Hi:
Looking to invest in a set of winter wheels.for my 2023 992 S2. Have the standard 20/21 for my summer set.
Before pulling the trigger wondering if the 19/20 wheel sets fit 2023 992 S2?
Or would you just get tyres and swap them on the original rims every season?
Cheers

Search for 911 winter wheel and tire sets on the internet. There are several options available. I have a 19/20 inch set on my T.

Good thing about Toronto, is that all but two or three nasty winter days, the car with snows is perfectly capable although I never have has the resolve to put any of mine through a winter…but I will one day for sure. Tire Rack.com or following wheel threads (even on 991 board) gives you idea of what you like. Having bought multiple ‘additional’ wheel sets for my 911s over the years, I would buy a set of HRE or Vossen or OZ or whatever appeals to you in the OE size with a slightly more aggressive offset/ look and mount your OEM rubber, then buy snows and mount them on your OEM rims. Upside is car looks great 12 months a year and frankly the ride degradation on excellent 20/21 snows vs excellent 19/ 20 snows is an acceptable trade off for vanity - for me anyway .

When I was looking 2 years ago, I ended up buying OEM 19/20s with winter tires from the dealer. The fit my ‘22 C4S fine and weren’t much more than worrying about looks, offsets, etc buying from Tire Rack, et al.

As long as you have the standard breaks (not PCCB) - the 19/20s will fit fine, I went with the 19/20s to give a bit more sidewall for winter roads. Rides great. Mine came (OEM) with the continental winters - first time I have had those, and have been really happy with the grip and wear of them.
There are several after market options as well.

Yes they fit
Yes the car doesn’t mind salt and winter
Yes, your dealer might have the set on sale so you can avoid paying shipping
Yes, you will probably also need to order the center caps. They are not included and specific to each wheel type.
Yes get the set rather than switching tires.
and the search here sucks. You can use the Google and type your search there with rennlist.com in there and get even more thoughts/theories/crazy advice![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)

When I first got my car, I had the dealer quote me two different OEM sets at 19/20.
They are:
992-044-600-A
992-044-602-A
I think one is Conti and I can't recall what the other is. At the time, it was $4500.

I spent more than 45 min on the phone with them only to find out that their OZ selection (right now anyway) is slim to none.

I called my dealer at the time and they matched Suncoast's pricing. Picked them up the next week in my Tundra. I have them here waiting for the Targa and next winter.

For me in Cincinnati Ohio - mild winters. I usually swap out when the temp is below around 50 degrees on average during the day. Summers will start to spider crack once below 40's if driven a lot. So for me it is around Thanksgiving each year, and then usually around March when the normal day temp is back above 45 is, I put the summers back on (unless the outlook looks colder in early/mid march). So mine are on 3-4 months per year.
While it will hurt your summers in the cold, your winters are fine if warmer, they will just wear out a bit quicker in hotter temps.
