Default sport cats

Im new here so forgive any repetition.
Any comment from anyone on the relative worth and cost/benefit ratio to having so called sport cats ( 100-200 cell ) on an otherwise stock 2024 911 T ?

Thanks

the price depends on the cats, we offer Fabspeed catted downpipes for ~ 4K
your expected gains are 20 whp and 40 wtq

You also get to hear more of the turbo noises.

Who has/can substantiate any hp gaines on a stock car? Everything ive seen offered is hypothetical or maybe wishful thinking on the part of people selling sport cats. Some testing and no bull**** numbers would be refreshing.

Ok. Saw that graph for the S.
One would still need to guess as it applies to the base or T engine.
I understand they are the same excepting turbochargers.

I have the Soul ones and I can attest to more intake sounds but I have never Dyno the car. They have been on 8500 miles and work great. I am thinking about going total catless to get a tad more sound.

We tune for upgraded links pipes quite often and run them on the dyno all the time. They are good for about 20whp compared to stock link pipes.

The extra horseys are nice but it’s the sound the car now makes with the sport cats. 😻 then get the M tune and open up the exhaust valves all the time.

Sound upgrade with a little power bump potentially on a stock car. You'll also have some better throttle response as the exhaust is a little more "free-flowing"

Here’s a dyno of a 385 hp Carrera with our 100 cell sport cats and a stock ECU. The sharper throttle response and the bump from idle to about 3500 rpm is what you feel. At the top the gains are neglectable.

The second dyno is the same Carrera but with a bit more gain at the top. Also with a stock ECU. Most all dynos over here in Europe measure crank hp. Stock 385 hp Carrera measured 389 hp and 409 hp with our cats. These are 130mm 100 cell sport cats. They are less restrictive and sound slightly louder than 200 cell cats.

We also offer 50 cell cats. Also less restrictive and sound awesome with stock PSE.

Thanks to BR-Performance

We have sold a lot of Soul Performance Sport Cats for the 992 generation. Definite improvement in sound, you will feel it on the butt dyno, and if you tune it, even more..

Really interesting the gains are down low. I would have expected the opposite to be true. Usually low RPM backpressure is good esp for a turbo engine.

Would you recommend Soul over Fabspeed?
