so I came across this below, I was wondering if anyone had any trouble doing this or how it worked out. I went to a local shop here in socal 911 design and they said they would need to login and pay a "fee" to Porsche to do any sort of programming most likely. They said there was a small chance it was something quick and easy using the piwis. thank you!
For those who want to activate own Matrix yourself: below is the combinations code that work: USA Matrix Code:8JU+8G4+AV2+B34+8K5 --CHANGE TO--EU MATRIX CODE:8JU+8G4+AV1+B01+8K8--Access to change this value is on Maintenance of vehicle data/F7 autocode these modules: BCM1,BCM2, KOMBI, ZFAS, AIRBAG, CONBOX, LED HEADLIGHT LEFT AND RIGHT, LCM_L/R PCM.
The automatic coding turn HOMELINK frequency into EU, and Dashboard Languange to German, solution: For homelink fix on BCM1 manual coding Without |Rule -- Garage-Door-opener-Coding-Values: Change back from 0x21000 to 0x25000 then Write. Final step: Revert the vehicle data back to their original value and save, but at this last step DO NOT autocode. i repeat DO NOT AUTOCODE.
For the 9xx tours, it wasn't clear to me from his website whether as part of a "tour" you still have to pay all of his travel or what. Perhaps i just missed something. Cause i would do it for 700 bucks or whatever but not at 1500+ when travel is taken into account (cause car really won't be driven at night much, if at all). Any thoughts / experience from group on that?

I originally signed up and then found it was considerably more expensive when I became a tour destination. The shop is in Atlanta, well within driving distance for me so that's my plan.

I'm from NorCal, so I hope that either NorCal or SoCal is part of his tour in 2024. I will be setting up the video conference per his instructions once I get my "T" in April... I think that is the 1st step in getting his attention to figure out how much it's going to costs.

Thanks for info. Maybe i can plan a call with him and ask I guess. I am outside Northern VA so might be a destination for him i would think.

Here is the URL to setup that video conference with him to discuss wha you want. You have to have a VIN and in possession of your 911 first from what I understand... https://9xx.com/pages/contact-us
You'd think PCNA would support this just so they could have another service fee in their quiver.
The headlights have to be tested in the US for approval. Also, when the adaptive headlights were approved in the US, they created a different set of approval rules than ROW, so the headlights approved for sale elsewhere may not meet US standards. So far, no manufacturer has sold any vehicles with adaptive headlights in the US.
not sure but I'd be in if he came to socal... I wonder if he can make it like in europe how you can open the targa top from key fob. Absurd that you can't do that here as you walk up to the car.

I don't think the top can be coded to work with the American keys...the European keys have a fourth button to open/close the top..You can install one of these to open and close the top with the key:
