Couldn’t vote, because steel brakes are not offered on the 992, the only other option are iron rotors
.
Joke aside, I voted the non-PCCB option. Since my car sees a fair bit of track time (20-25 days per year) PCCB are too cost prohibitive for my use case.

I purchased my pre-owned GT3 that had PCCBs. It was an attractive option and I was very curious to see how they performed vs the steel rotors I had in all my past cars. On the street, I could not really discern a difference. When I went to the track I could feel a difference but it was not huge. I chose to switch out to steel on the GT3 to save my PCCBs from wearing out and costing huge amounts of money to replace. In the end, I actually liked the feel of the steel rotors better on the track (I may have been imagining it as I had always been used to steel rotors). Even then, the wear and tear on the steel rotors was not excessive. The ceramics had less brake dust than the steel ones by a significant amount, but it was a small price to pay IMHO.

PCCB will last much longer than that if you're only driving them on the street, and seem to actually be desirable for resale from what I've seen.
I wouldn't spec irons unless the initial cost was a problem. Even if I were tracking regularly, I think I'd replace them with Surface Transforms which can be resurfaced 2-3x once I wore out the OEM rotors, putting the running costs at least a little close to the standard iron rotors.

Pretty useless comment for the Author, but nice flex.

After owning a car with Ceramic brakes.....no brake dust and brakes better and last a lot longer if you don't track it...I would go PCCB all the way!!! Don't even have to think about it!!! That is how good the PCCB are.

It's funny, because I always here folks say 'if you don't track then you don't need PCCB'. Then I hear folks that track their cars that don't want PCCB because of the huge cost of replacement. So basically PCCB is for folks that don't care what it costs to have clean wheels or what it costs to track and replace brakes?!
