Seems worth it. Not guaranteed to have a problem removing and replacing. And if successful, this would be cheaper than replacing the lights, which is the alternative without any PPF. So what's the downside?

I got my 991.1 C4S ppf’d a couple of times since brand new. Installer told me about this but when he replaced with new one, he said the older one came out without issues.

my 981 has PPF on the headlights and its 10yo this year, the headlights and PPF looks perfect yet the rest of the PPF is ready to be replaced on the front of it. I did the entire car on my 992 including the headlights - the way I see it the car lives indoors so I should get 15+ years out of the PPF is not longer.
