Would you do a dark aluminum? (I like the standard color, but would prefer this important control be made of a more substantial material, rather than the plastic Porsche used).
We could do a satin black, or whatever the enthusiasts would like. We may be adding a custom color option with small upcharge (as long as we can get the paint code or mix ratios)
Not even going to ask what it would be to Alaska then... the insistence of companies on shipping via UPS or FedEx (if that's what the charge is for) when a small "if it fits it ships" insured would do is a killer for us. Reason I go with FCP Euro vs SunCoast etc.; not subsidizing UPS or FedEx or DHL
I just got mine and installed it yesterday evening. The color is just a bit darker than my Guards Red paint, but seems to match the seat belts really well. The fit and finish are really good and installing it is as easy as the video shows. I used a trim tool to pop off the stock one, but it’s probably not necessary.
I have a white/Bordeaux 992 GTS with central tach and sport chrono dials in white. Just ordered the white ring and looking forward to seeing it on the car. Some folks complained about the shipping charges from RGS. My shipping charge came out to less than $7 (IL to GA ) which is very fair in my opinion. In contrast, I ordered a simple keyring on Sunday from a well known Porsche parts and accessories distributor located just one state away in FL and they charged me over $15 using the same UPS ground shipping method.
Thank you, @RGS. Happy with the product. It is well made and accentuates the tach and sport chrono nicely. Feel free to use the picture below if you'd like.
