I’m interested if you add Guards Red.

Yeah Guards Red should be a standard color. Carmine red should be an optional color for $30 more to make it more OEM like.

Interested! Prefer Speed Yellow but will go with the flow. Keep it under a grand.

[QUOTE=RGS;19167011]Totally different product. Ours follows OEM form and fitment. Remove the OEM **** (2 seconds), replace with ours. OEM look and fitment. We actually created ours because we didn’t like their design. We wanted an OEM look and fitment.

No IP issues at all, and I dabble in IP 😉…

Unless you are an attorney, “dabble” is probably a good word for it. Don’t know I would admit reverse engineering the Carp0ke$ design in writing on the internet???

Please see photos. This is not the same design at all. This is a replacement part for the OEM mode switch. Carp0k$ is a cover. Completely different design. There are not even remotely the same. Ours is OEM fitment. Zero reverse engineering of another companies design.

Two completely different designs.

I would not put that on any of my Porsches, since you asked. However, there is a certain crowd stepping up into Porsches from their Fast N' Furious Integra's that will. That's your target market, the same ones that will remove the "S" in Carrera S and replace it with a red letter, or put straight pipes on their car and pull the cats to make the loudest noise possible. Plenty of them out there.

Someone doesn't know what OEM means. Anyone can make these dials/***** if they want. It's like saying you can't make an iPhone case because someone else makes one, or made one. I'm sure if you dig deep enough you'll find someone had made these somewhere else in the world already (before ********).

Only if it does not violate someone else's IP rights. And "Yes", the entity that definitely made these before anyone else was Porsche, of course.....and my educated guess is that Porsche has most likely protected it. If it is "OEM" as represented, it just might be violating Porsche's design (if protected)? For example, you can not legally make a knock off "Otter" style I Phone case if Otter has patented its design. But, you are correct that someone on this forum does not fully understand the significance of saying something is "OEM".

Where are those rings on the tach and clock from? I also have a shark blue 992 and would love to see some additional color pop options for the interior.

I don’t believe he called this OEM. He said it replaces the OEM part.

Just like the seat belts I never looked at that **** and said "ya know what this needs is some color." That said, a lot of people pick colored seat belts, so I'd assume that's your market.
