I ordered my 2024 C2S with the black leather interior with chalk stitching. I also decided to get the leather case around the steering column because I was under the impression it would also have chalk stitching, but when I picked my car up, the leather case on the steering column has black stitching, is this because I didn't pay for the deviated stitching package (a friend of mine has chalk stitching on his leather steering column case)? Or did they just not assemble it correctly?

Any clue on how much work it is to change the steering column to have chalk stitching?

 

Short answer : you don’t need to purchase the deviated package for steering column to match dashboard and door stitching.

i specified silver for door and dashboard and column casing had same stitching. No deviated stitching package.

I ordered mine with the black/bordeaux interior and the leather steering column. The cover came in black with the red (bordeaux) stitching as shown below.

 

I have the standard Truffle with chalk stitching and my leather steering column does not have chalk stitching. I didn’t option the deviated stitching.
