I have the Milwaukee 12v and 18v. The 12v is fine for bicycles and such but struggles on a car size tire other than a pound or two maybe. Also, it seems it would be easy to exceed the duty cycle when using on a car/pickup sized tire.
18v is a dream and is what I would recommend.

Milwaukee M18, plus (2) batteries and charger ordered. Plan would be to toss in the frunk (or my Bronco) when traveling and drastic temperature changes are forecasted. Thanks for everyone's tips!

For my 981 & 991.2, I use the one that came with my car (stored in front of the battery). They work great and auto shutoff at the desired pressure!

I assume, (not good to do), that my 992.1 on order will come with one also....?

I got the AntiGravity XP-15 which is both a jump starter and air pump. Air pump works decently and was able to inflate 3 cars to proper tire pressures for winter on a single charge.

I bought one on Amazon (or maybe it was Walmart) and wrapped it up. I will get to test it on Christmas morning.

Dewalt, too, I love it. Portable/battery is the way to go. No hoses or cords to drag around.

Great choice. Love the Milwaukee unit. Screw on connector, set tire pressure and it does the job. Very cool unit.
