New 992.2? Maybe..,

Heres my speculation, since folks have said for some time (and article) that as currently configured, transmission/battery dont work with Manual, maybe Porsche next pricing party trick is to have the S be non-hybrid but keeps option for Manual with an easy HP bump via ecu mapping.

A lot of this is contrary to other rumors, so here's my guess: ALL 992.2's get the mild hybrid electric motor integrated into the transmission (PDK and manual).
This gives them a significant power and slight economy boost throughout the line so even the base model owners will want to trade up!
The separate front motor (which sounds like the corvette e-ray hybrid) will be a new model released later so early 992.2 buyers will want to trade up again!
Remember Porsche is primarily a marketing machine

Later on, say 2026 or 2027 even? They will announce the 994.1 (or whatever they call it) with the high voltage full hybrid (the performance hybrid that Frank-Steffen Walliser and Frank Moser have been talking about for the last few years) on select variants (I think the rumor mill was saying the S model and up?). The base 911 and probably the T would still just have the mild hybrid system. The full hybrid system will add good amount of power and torque in particular (maybe 150hp and 200lb*ft), but will add more like 150lbs to 250lbs to the cars.

You won't see them very often just cruising the streets but if you go to Cars and Coffee type events they're pretty common.
