992 Know Mechanical Problems: Are there any?

I don’t know if windshield wipers are considered mechanical, but whenever I turn off the car, the passenger windshield wiper activates a tiny bit. I had a Macan loaner and it did the same thing.

4 years and 18k miles (sadly too low, thanks a lot Covid) and my 992 is as solid as a new car I just bought. Just extended the warranty another 3 years only out of fear, not reality.

i have owned several generation of 911s and they are all unique. i also have some friends that are big collectors so i have driven many different air cooled porsches over the years. the 992 is the best platform in my opinion.
mechanically, the 992 is sound if you follow the maintenance schedule . but the cabin can sound like a bag of bolts. if you can get past the cabin noises (that come and go) and you if want a fun daily driver you really cant go wrong with the 992.
