Default First Porsche on order!

Hello everyone,

I am finally joining the Porsche club after a few years of trying to secure an allocation for a 911S. Have owned many ///M cars over the years and I am super excited to join all the fellow Porsche enthusiasts. Doing euro delivery in Leipzig. Allocation came thru about a week ago and should be slated to pick it up in May/June of 2024.

ive attached the build any recommended options that I may have missed?

Thank you!

How long from when you put your name down for an allocation - to receiving an allocation has it been?

You forgot preparation for roof transport for $60. Most likely you’ll never use it, but it’s not possible to add in later.

I built a pretty loaded GTS minus the aero kit for $9k less but that is the difference in a year.

So this was a bit of an interesting acquisition for the allocation. I’ve stopped at 3 different Porsche stores over the last 3 years and none of them even wanted to put me on a list or I was quoted 4 years at one store. So I kind of just stopped looking. I have done business with a dealer group and purchased several bmw’s from them. So I randomly approached the GM at bmw who I’ve become friends with and asked him to inquire on a 911S allocation for me if at all possible, as they have a Porsche store in their group as well. They called me the following day and said they’d sell me one at MSRP. A week later allocation came thru. They did say European delivery helped my case but not sure how that plays into it.

From what I've read, European Delivery doesn't count against their allocations.

Yes very strange, also very lucky. Have always been a huge fan of the brand just never quite realized how difficult it was to get an allocation for a 911.

OP, don't you want this $60 option? Either now or never.

I don’t think I’d ever use this. But for $60 I may as well tack it on
