Then there are these:
It looks like my 911 makes up for my wife's BMW X5 Hybrid.

If you look at the numbers, it’s based on a ~$200k MSRP, so not any Carrera models. Unless it’s factoring in all 911 coupes, with appreciation of the GT3 heavily skewing the average depreciation.
Again likely that GT3s are skewing the coupe numbers. The Cab depreciation is based on $162k MSRP.

These studies have been going on for decades. 911 and Wranglers have been consistently at the top of the list for eons. Not sure if the fact that both models have retained the same basic shape for decades is correlation or causation.

It seems like Cabiolets and Turbos depreciate the fastest, then Carrera models, then Targas, then GT3, then GT3 RS and special models. GT3 and above have had ADMs for a long time though, so the actual depreciation based on price paid may be a different matter.

Your last point is well taken.

worthless article, has nothing to reality.
So basically they took 200k$ msrp max and the most expensive car in that range depreciated least - wow, bonkers, who could expected that luxury goods depreciate less then toyota corolla or a food truck.
Show me a huracan or any ferrari that depreciated more.
