M-Engineering: PSE Valve mod for 992 Carrera - NEW VIDEO

How does the tune impact emissions testing, if at all? I have turned other types of cars before and had issues passing emissions here in Georgia. It is my biggest concern with tuning. We will be moving to Miami in a few years, then it will not matter so much as we have no emissions testing down there.

Yup, takes all but about 5 minutes to go back to stop. You can do it yourself in the comfort of your own driveway. Some of the other tuning options out there require you to go to the dealer where you purchased the tune and pay them to take it to stock for you.

I have a variant of this mod from M: in Sport mode the PSE valves open 50% by 3700 and 100% by 4500. To me this a 'best of both worlds' approach and avoids unpleasant / gratuitous low rpm drone but really sings up top. IMHO this is they way it should have come from the factory - so much so I'm no longer considering an aftermarket exhaust (at this time) for my 'daily driver'. My tune also disabled the cold-start noise to avoid waking the neighbors early in the morning. The guys at M have been really great to work with - recommended.
