Default Porsche US price increase on configurator

I noticed that the T base price has increased from $124,900 to $126,550!

I also tried accessing my saved builds on Porsche configurator and they are deleted from my Porsche account! I'm still able to access my build via a saved link.

Screenshot of the configurator.

Interestingly, once you build the car, the base price drops back down to $124,900. There is likely a bug in the configurator.

That's normal. There is a $1650 destination charge included in that total. Base price is still $124,900.

Not including other charges your dealer might add on like "documentation fee", etc, in lieu of (but much lower than) APM's.

Oddly, I was messing around in the configurator yesterday morning. I built my 2022 Targa 4S to exact in the configurator, seeing what the price difference from 2022 to a 2024. My 2022 came out when I spec'd it to exactly 168,000 (exactly even) - my SA was impressed with my round number build. The current configuration is 186,730 so nearly 19K more.

I also noticed Not Available is PTS which I heard was still not available (but used to be able to fiddle with on the configurator - doesn't even seem available to do even that anymore) - but also noted that the sports + 4 way seats with sport-tex was not available, looks like you must opt for sports + 18 ways....

I have a 2024 Cabriolet 4S which finished production 10/18 and is currently on its way to Emden for shipping. I just rebuilt the car in the configurator and their was a price increase of about $3,000.00. The Cab 4S prior to adding options increased from $151,400.00 to $153,050.00. So there was a price increase.

I think the prices went up too much. I see prices in Germany, which includes taxes, is about the same as the ones in USA without tax. So that tells me the US prices are about 15% more expensive than ones in Germany.

I just went to US configurator and built my spec that is awaiting to be built. Zero price increase.

Regardless, Porsche is scheduled to release earnings this week, and have already said another bump was looming this year. Guess we'll see soon.

I think the 911 is probably priced too low.

Given the state of allocations, demand, supply and the resulting ADMs.

I would be highly surprised to see another price increase prior to the 992.2. After-all it is coming sooner rather than later.

A result of the relative strength of the US dollar at the moment....the USD to EUR average is closer to 0.8 than the current 0.94.
