Default Dealer mark up still a thing

Alot of people are saying that Porsche market is getting better. Just wondering if ADM is still happening on a current build for a non GT cars?

Currenty got an allocation only two weeks after I submitted my interest on a Carrera T at msrp. I have no prior business history with the dealership.

From postings here and reddit it seems like T allocations are easy to get. I'll see what my guy knows when I get my winter tires swapped on

Congratulations on your T allocation. I'm currently in a base coupe and very pleased with it. As far as ADM's, it depends on the region your in and the dealership your working with. My buddy is in South Florida with huge ADM's. He went to Ohio to buy his at MSRP. I'm in the Carolinas, paid MSRP for my coupe back in March. But had to buy a $5500 Porsche watch for my Cabriolet allocation. In all fairness to my dealer he had to pull some strings to dealer trade a coupe allocation he had for my Cab allocation. I'd say you did very well with a T allocation at MSRP, Enjoy the Porsche experience.

Got a MSRP allocation in late July for a Cabriolet 4S with the ability to pick colors and options. Currently being built with a mid November delivery. Dealer in eastern Pennsylvania. I was in his service area. No prior history with this dealer but I was on the waiting list of other dealers for two years. Simply made a telephone call. Timing is everything.

In many markets cars are being sold without adm/addons. However, many dealers are still trying to get ADMs so someone may jump “the line” if they are willing to pay an adm.

Yes it is but more so for specialty models. GT3, Targas, and Turbo / Turbo S gave the heaviest ADMs. You could always order and wait forever for msrp or close to it.

We might be on the same boat, literally. My C2S Coupe gets built next week/the week after. Track My Dream is estimating 11/20 dealer arrival. Also @ MSRP, I bought a C2 in Jan from the same dealer and pre-traded it 2 weeks ago. Got almost what I paid for it. My dealer is in NJ.

Probably same boat. I show a 11/14 delivery. Next week going to ask the dealer for copies of warranties and pricing on PPF and ceramic so I don’t need to decide on the spot. Want to read the exclusions in advance. Already visited the company they use for PPF and ceramic and leaning towards doing them. I will be keeping this car. Need to sell a restored 1949 F-1 Ford truck to make some room.

Yes, it varies by region. And anyone who has been buying Porsches for more than a New York minute knows this is typically the case. In contrast to OP, just yesterday there was a member in the Carrera T thread who complained he could not find an allocation in his region for less than 10K ADM. This is why you get on the phone and make calls.

Ferrari is now taking crypto for their cars, which should bring in even more buyers from the "underground" segment of the economy, willing to pay even higher ADMs. I wonder if Porsche plans to do the same.
