China.

To my eye, Shark is much easier to like than Miami. Miami has obvious yellow in it that brings the blue closer to green, a la aqua or cyan. Although I can see where it would work perfectly…if you live in Miami.

This thread is on and off the rails. Perhaps it’s title should be changed to: Where to complain if you were denied PTS or can’t find a discount.

There may have been times in the past when the 911 was discounted more than 10%, but that meant that Porsche was subsidizing the sale or that the dealer had a car sitting around for a while that they needed to move. This is the similar situation with the SL currently, people are getting 30-40K off, this almost surely is subsidized partially by Mercedes with back end incentives to dealers which allows for the pricing below wholesale dealer pricing. Porsche has no reason to do this in any market at the moment, because there are multiple markets globally where they can move the cars with no discounting, and there are no major markets where 911s are sitting around on dealer lots for months.
US is perhaps different then. But in Europe, dealers of premium German brands have margins way way above 10%. There were days I would walk in and get 25% off without even trying and the dealer would still make a lot of money on the deal. Now things are a bit different and dealers are worse off, but there's still a lot of money left on the table before any individual incentives that the dealer would beg for to the national importer. No one's selling at 'invoice prices' either to private customers or whatever you call it in the US.

And Porsche's margins are higher than anybody else's so you can do the math.
