Here is the link to my all standard black interior GTS that I sold. Last year. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/20...arrera-gts-10/

The black interior was alright..hard to distinguish where the leather is and is not. Unless getting a colored leather (white on black etc).
The black leather, adds leather here. For me it is not something I touch, or found it lacking visually, so went with standard. If I wanted graphite blue, red bourdeaux, chalk then be a different story. Was advised by SA too, rather add other things than that. My GTS will be here in Jan/Feb 2024. So don't have actual pictures yet. Would highly recommend find a used Porsche online nearby(which you shouldn't have an issue with and go check it out).

In my opinion, I'll keep the extended tanks (if you drive often), get premium package and interior wise, depends how much leather you want. I'd forego it.

I took a chance on it and selected. Guess I'll find out in a couple months...

but a rear camera and parking sensors all around seem to work well, so figured it was not a must have.

Glad you went with the premium package, the parking sensors can be hit and miss as to when they activate, with the cameras you can always manually activate them.

It's just not that big a deal... at ~25-29 mpg the car is great with a standard tank not worth the worry

That said ... no issues with my ext tank

and I cannot rave enough about the ventilated seats (they come in leather) and the interior is now 90% leather looks great in black... for 1000 bucks

just not the center armrest

and leather steering wheel is a must and you get matching shift ****

racetex seems very shortlived

LCA is just blind spot monitoring. Lane Keep Assist is the garbage that I turn off in every single car. I can drive myself thank you very much. If you deem the power folding mirrors are necessary for your parking situation, I think the Premium package does make sense. Surround view is useful. I made sure I got that on my wife's car. Ambient lighting, I'd turn off personally.

On the pre-wired for dash cam, it's been a while, but I remembered reading you still needed some adapter or something for the connectors even for the Porsche cam. So I was like, what's the point? All you were really getting was power wires already routed up to the mirror. I put that money towards the fire extinguisher instead.

RAS, another I can drive myself thank you very much. I didn't want another computer between me and the wheels. Not to mention, something else to break down the road.

One thing I really like in my GT3 is the racetex headliner, which is standard. I also added leather visors because I thought they looked and felt nicer. I would also get the heated steering wheel, which isn't available in my car.

After 14,000+ miles, no creaks from the larger tank and I love the range, especially on road trips. Get it.

I added the smoking package to mine, it’s a zero cost option that gives you a 3rd insert of a branded ashtray in place of either the cubbie or cup holder. I would say it’s worth it given that’s it’s $0 and it gives you another gadget that you may or may not use. I have mine on my desk at home.

I wasn’t worried about the reported rattles and added the extended fuel tank to my order, happy with it thus far.

Race-Tex headliners are really nice, but not sure if it’s $1400 nice. Question for current 992 GTS owners is what material is used for the A-pillars and headliner?

I have a heated steering wheel on my M2 and almost never use it. But, the times I do, it does feel nice.

Yes. It's just a free insert for the cupholder area. No downside. It can be swapped in and out.

I have the GTS interior and went with standard headliner. I wish I had gone racetex for sure. The non racetex material is somewhat similar to sport-tex I have seen on some C2S and T models. With a black interior few would notice what the headliner and pilars are made of, but as an owner you will. I think the racetex would have made the cabin feel that much more "finished" and high end. Oh well, next time for me.

PS, I'd do the visors too.

The larger tank is 100% worth it. Made it from Atlanta to St. Pete in 3/4 of a tank.

I felt the same about the cost/race-tex headliner and thus didn't spec it. I had an Alcantara headliner in my old Macan Turbo and it was definitely nice touch, but it came with the car and I didn't have to pay for it.

The standard material in the GTS is the same as my old C2 992, it's a nylon-looking tight mesh material. Pretty blah for a car that costs as much as it does, but it is what it is... pay to play I guess? It doesn't really bother me and I don't pay attention to it when I'm in the car, but YMMV.

I am very interested to hear more about your choice for bucket seats including rear seats delete. Is this mainly a track car?

I didn't do visors on my cab and have never noticed/cared. It's not worth it IMO. I did fret over it while ordering, admittedly. Just turns out it doesn't really matter.
