Quickjacks and 992's

It looks like I would have to buy the 6000 series unit to make it usable on the Cayenne. The trick of course is not to get one so large I can't use it on the 992. Some time with the measuring tape comparing the distance on all the jack points is in order.
Costco had a hellva deal on the 7000 series, but are currently sold out. https://www.costco.com/quickjack-700...100833767.html

Received an e mail from Pelican Parts this morning stating last day of sale for 25% off Quick Jack. May be BS…don’t know….but thought I would pass along.

The Cayenne is 72" across the jack points, which means I would need to buy the 6000 series, (the 5000 and 7000 won't reach it). 3.5" in height on the 6000, that will clear the 992. Still trying to figure it all out, looks like I need to get the tape measure out and get on the ground under all three to take down the specs.

Don't screw around, get the 7K version. They have extension bars that will go on it for larger vehicles, along with the aforementioned higher lifting blocks. Additionally, everyone is correct in that the .5" additional height makes it tight if you don't have FAL (I do and raising it for QJ use is just another reason I love it). BUT, once you get the ideal lifting location in your garage area set, you will want to mark where the QJ goes for the next time, so just mark where you can put some small drive up .5"-1" pads for under the wheels. Meaning, set your pads in there spot, drive right on them then slide the. QJ right under. Also, for everyone, there is a great YouTube video of how to install some super small ball casters to make maneuvering the QJ around on the ground super easy.

I think I am stuck I can't find one model that will do all my vehicles. So, I agree with your 911Castle, I'll do the 7K version and rig up something / adapt to lift the 9YO Cayenne, there appears to be no information on that vehicle (does everyone take them to the dealer, I guess?). Even with the extension bars on the 7000TL, it won't reach ,,,but there appears to be no flat place to lift that vehicle anyways. I will figure it out.
The good news is Costco just put the 7000 bundle back on deal (it was previously sold out) so at $ 1,599 for the 7000TL, the Wall Hangers, and the truck adaptors, and free delivery that's the deal to get. Bundle Sale Price good until Oct 16th.

I have 5k QJs…width is short for pinch rail reinforced Jack points on MDX, was thinking of getting the extensions.
have used on 987 and 4Runner they work great. I haven’t used on 992.

Woudn't it just be easier to buy a low profile jack and some jackpoint jack stands? By the time you get those quick jacks off the wall put them in the right spot, hook up all the hydraulic wires you could probably jack up the car on the jackpoint stands.

Not for me. The wall hangars are only necessary if clearance is an issue. I have a 5000 model and clearance is not a problem. So, I just leave my QJ raills on the floor and centered underneath my car and park over them. When want to use the QJ, I just hook up hoses, slide the rails outboard and underneath the frame, and push a buttonto raise entire car at once. Quicker, easier….and safer…than a trusting a 25 cent seal on a low profile jack at least twice while setting 4 jack stands. I have to use the jack twice to set2 jack stands twice to get all 4 wheels off the ground.
