Blendmount is the answer! Have them on all 3 of my Porsches, 993, 996, 992. They also sell the wiring that taps into the mirror for power.

Just got an email about this item today...this will convert the USB power to the telephone jack power cable that the escort uses.

I think it just depends where you are. It seems to be some of each around me.

I probably need to get the blendmount but when I got my 360c I was put off a bit by the $150 price tag for a mount, added to which it puts the Escort quite a bit lower than my suction cup mount, which when I have that up, is right up under the mirror pretty tight on the left side.
Check Etsy. I got a nice small mount for my R3 (Uniden) for around $20 or so, because I could not see the value in $150 for a Blendmount. It is nice and tidy up on the mirror and other than the view from outside being about 10% more visible than a Blendmount (which is very hard to see anyway) it gets the job done as tidy as it can be.

This looks great. Do you take the detector/mount off when you park the car to avoid a potential break in?

Not in the town that I live in and while there are certainly no gurantees in life (or the town I live in), the added benefit of the blendmount is that it is not as conspicuous as a window mount particularly with no powercord runniung from the dash. Still, if I want to take it down it literally takes a second. Unlpug in the back of the detector and hit the quick release tab on the mount and it slides right off.

Thanks very much. So the detector comes off easily, but the mount stays attached?
