Has anyone ever seen or have picture of a GT silver build with this Exterior Package Painted option done? I have never seen an actual real photo, and would love to see some if anyone has one. I love the way the standard front facia looks with the GT sliver painted on on it, but not sure how much I like the back not having the Black accents. I have to finalize my build in 2 weeks and cannot decide on this yet. Your thoughts?
Exterior Package Painted option without the sports design package
Just thought I would add an update to my original question. I want to see the Exterior Painted option on the standard front facia, not with the sports design package. I see that everywhere ;-)
This has the standard back end without the sports design added. painted or not painted?
Can't help you with GT Silver but this is mine in Carrera White Metallic with the Exterior Package Painted option. Note I have the standard front bumper and the standard rear bumper with also the duel exhaust tips as I like them better. Also note I made my 911 bumper emblem high gloss black and I blacked out my rear reflectors for contrast and have a black Porsche license frame and my actual Florida tag is black and white too. I really like this option as it is really rare and I have yet to see another 911 in person with it.
I have seen it on a few cars and I prefer the black trim look.
Most folks do indeed prefer the black trim and have it. I kinda wanted to tie all of my stuff in so I also did the painted sport side skirts, painted mirrors and painted rear vent slats. Then added the silver window trim and the silver exhaust tips to go along with the polished exclusive wheels. I think the front painted as such is a cross between the sport front end and the Turbo front end and that's why I like it. The rear painted just shows off my exhaust tips a bit more and that's why I like it. That is the best thing about these cars, almost every single one is built a bit differently and just for you.
I wanted just the front done so I had it painted by the local Porsche collision center in my city. Here how it turned out. I personally love it. I then added the radiator grill guards from Zunsport

this looks really good, if only there was a way to hide the holes in the bumper it would be perfect. about how much did that go for as I'd like to potentially get mine painted gloss black (I know different states and companies charge different but would like to hear rough estimate)

Not completely the same, since I have a TTS, but I have painted GT Silver accent pieces, including full rear and paint matched reflectors. Instead of leaning into black accent pieces, I tried to make a monochromatic (matte) GT mobile.
I ordered the actual front bumper surround from Suncoast so that I could offer the original black bumper surround to a potential buyer when I sell or trade this down the road and that was $220.00. Paint, Install and PPF cost about $875. The black holes are the parking sensors and they could not be painted because it could mess up the sensors from what I was told, but in person it does not look like a whole to me. Hope this helps.
Too late 80s / early 90s. Too much, especially around the exhaust.
this. the rear doesnt look good in body color paint. I wish theyd just offered the black trims in gloss black without needing to get S-PASM. nearly unlimited options yet porsche requires that match, smh.
