iPhone holder for 992

But it's not just those apps. Even using apple's own music app, you can't go backwards in a playlist. It only displays music currently playing and then music after the song that's currently playing. You can't scroll back up. Again, I am not saying that's the only reason, it is one of many reasons why someone like me would prefer to not access everything via CarPlay.... b/c CarPlay does not have full functionality and locks you out of certain things for no reason at all.

Perhaps I'm missing something, but what's the need for a holder? Isn't that why we have Carplay / Siri voice? And after enabling full-screen Carplay on my PCM5 (thx @innovativesoft ) I never touch my phone. Legitimately curious what use case ppl find requires a dedicated mount?
(and yeah, I'm assuming Carplay is the default). The 'normal' PCM Nav/Music is abysmal - it that's the need then I understand.

You should see the Facebook group posts! Every. Single. Time. Without fail. Right behind the recommendations for radar detectors being accompanied by the "don't speed" replies.

Don’t know about you guys but our local PCA uses Ride with GPS app for rally’s. You can’t access that app on CarPlay so if you get left behind on the rally you’re constantly looking down at your phone to find the map guidance - definitely not safe.
would love someone to back apple carplay to run all apps but until that happens I’ll need a cheap phone mount.

So far in my 2 weeks of 992 ownership, I just put my phone in the middle cup holder. I hardly ever put a drink in there so this seems to work fine. I saw a universal phone holder that goes in the cup holder so I got one of those too which should work even better.
