Bingo!

My local dealer has a waiting list of 35 people that want to order a GTS at MSRP.
A friend of mine's wife wants one and she doesnt want the next model year which goes hybrid.
She's been waiting since November 2022 and they've bought 4 cars from the local dealer.
Another dealer in the area (under the same ownership) has an allocation for an October build for a $10,000 ADM.

He asked me what he should do, reminding me that "Happy Wife = Happy Life".
I told him that this was a no-brainer.

Actually, just securing a C2 allocation at all is a great feat in itself given how scarce C2 allocations have been countrywide this past year. You will quickly forget all about the $10k once you have the car and that ADM guilt will turn to "man I feel so lucky to have a new C2 in this crazy market".

Look forward to seeing pics of your baby when it arrives (or maybe even we could organize meet up of all the So Cal ADM 911 Owners, haha).

Thanks for your words meyecul, You are right I guess I was kind of lucky to find a C2 allocation to begin with.
Looking forward to share thoughts and information with this fine forum,

I'm sure that number is all over the board depending who is shovelling the BS.
One dealer supposedly has 650 guys in line for a new 911 while another has a "broker" or friend of one barking an immediate MSRP allocation for a 992. Obviously there is a lack of truth in some of these tales.

I agree , but I thought it will be funny to report that
they have a used 2023 GTS with 800 miles there and I think they are asking 30 k above sticker
they were asking 500 k for the 991 GT2RS PTS with 90 miles on it , and I passed

18 months give or take (Carrera T). Longer for a S or GTS.

Absolutely, could've gotten a GT3 15% off MSRP in 2019. That's why so many of us have issues with ADM. I tried buying a 911(his) AND Macan (hers) at the same time February 2022 as a prior customer, both had ADM, so we passed.
