Do you know of a site that lists all extended manufacturer warranties?

My bad, sorry and yes, it is not a recall. But no, I would venture to say that there is no list or site that tracks extended warranties, but I could be wrong. My guess is that each manufacturer tracks that.

Looking at the TSB, it appears that the 2024 Carrera S isn't affected. Strange that it's singled out, but I'll take that as a good sign.

Yet PCNA has included my 2024 C2S (April Build) in the extended Warranty list..... So it seems they know they might have some issue there.

What good is extending the warranty if they have no fix for the problem? Assuming we are talking about the active damper rattle problem, as opposed to a failure of the entire mount.

Just got the letter today for my 2024 S. I still don’t really know what it applies to, the PADM rattle or something else with the mounts.

I just received the letter from PCNA for the extended warranty on the active engine mounts.

On a separate note, I did experience the low end (1500-2000) PADM rattle in my car pretty persistently in my car but never cared to take it in since it was a known issue.
I recently took my 22 GTS in for a leaky fuel line, which there is another thread here on Rennlist about, and part of the repairs required dropping the engine.
After getting my car back from the dealer (which they were able to complete in 5 days) the rattle has gotten significantly better and is almost completely gone.

I don't think dropping the engine is a good remedy for this rattle but I'm guessing the process of putting the engine back in and retorquing everything back to spec probably helped the rattle quite a bit.

Good thought. I already decided that unless Porsche produces a new part that actually works, it wasn’t worth dropping the engine just to try the latest revision which doesn’t seem to solve it anyway. So again, I don’t know what this warranty extension is for, extending the period of coverage for a fix they aren’t producing anyway?

Glad to see your rattle improved a bit. For the fuel line leak, if you have time, can you please report your instance to NHTSA as indicated in this post:

We need to get the complaints of actual occurrences reported so a recall or at least a bulletin is issued by Porsche. It'll help those of us out of warranty if a recall is triggered. Thank you and sorry for going off topic

And just like that, there was a letter in my mailbox from this weekend from Porsche extending the warranty on the mounts.

POST A VIDEO or it's hard for us to help. Just take the time. It's worth it.
