There's no waters to test; hybrids are coming like it or not. It's just a matter of when.

Everything here on this subject is pure speculation.

Not an odd statement at all. Probably lives in the UAE.

I second the black/ red combo. It helps with the reflection on the windscreen. Going all red will be a disaster in sunnier areas (like Los Angeles or Dubai).

The regular Carrera and Turbo models will probably have the mild-hybrid that BMW and MB have used to make stop/start smoother and provide power before turbo spools.

I think the GT models will be ICE only.

Blume basically confirmed a mild hybrid system (courtesy of Valeo) for at least one model for the 992.2 911 range, and a confirmed full-on e-boosted hybrid 992 GT2 RS.

Porsche stated many times 911 will continue to be ICE and offer manual. Hybrids and EVs are coming but there are still automakers offering ICE only variants and 911 will probably be last one left.

Yes, I work in the industry, the Dealer Management Systems that allow for options creation. Porsche has this option available: (seems like a no charge)

Well if they will allow the analog tach, that must mean the entirety of a new dash goes away with that selection. I would wait to see what they can do with a full digital dash, some good software can allow for some arrangements that are more practical than the large central tach.

Hybrids still have a combustion engine so are still considered 'ICE'. Only pure EV's, i.e. BEV's, aren't. I'm not looking to have an argument, just saying that none of us here really know for sure what will come until they release it. We can speculate / interpret / whatever all we like in the meantime.

Get what you can when you can get it. If you don't like it as much as a future version, trade it in then.
