So I’m going to change the stock filters and have 2 choices

K&N
BMC

K&N are the ones I would tend to go for as I have had them on cars since I was able to drive, but I’m wanting to know if anyone has Experiance with either.

oh, they also look to be different shapes which adds a bit of confusion 🤪

K&N's are lousy at filtering air. And there is FAR more dirt in a 911 air filter than most cars as its in the rear sucking up all those road particles the rear wheel throws up. I personally, would never buy a 911 with a K&N in the airbox, that would be a dealbreaker for me. Can't say to the others, I run OEM because I know Porsche makes sure they do the job. Good luck whatever you decide.

As with most aftermarket parts, my question is "Why?" What is wrong with a Mahle filter that you replace every 10,000 miles?

I was taking the opportunity to replace whilst whilst I have the wheels off as I thought it was a pre-req for the m tune stage 3 but it seems it’s not listed, not sure where I have read it now 🤪
