Need feedback - fuel consumtion 992 4S
#16
No idea what mileage I get. Not something I’m interested in tracking. At 15k in, i’m about ready for third set of rear and first set of front tires. Brakes are close to first pads swap, rotors are worn but have another mil to go. All canyon/mtn/fun miles.

I get 8.7 litre/100km pretty consistently in my 2020 4S driving 110-120 km/h with quite a few hills. Around town in Sport mode, I'd get 14 L/100km. Something definitely seems amiss with your 911, unfortunately. Are your tailpipes black (sign of running rich)?

I went in to the detail data in the My Porsche app going back to when I picked up my 992 base cab last November.
For short trips around town driving in sport mode I’m getting between 7 and 9 mpg. For longer highway drives I’m getting between 25 and 27 mpg.
My Porsche records your fuel consumption, distance traveled and average speed for every trip you make.
Ive attached a screen shot of a sample trip.

it took you an hour to go 10 miles? I would think 9mpg is about right for that sort of thing.

I have owned a 991.1S, it easily hit 30 MPG on the highways at 75-80 MPH. Usually 22-25 MPG around town. I had that P car for 3 years and 22K miles. Now have a 992 base, and drove it home from purchase about 600 miles. At 80 MPH, it gets 30 MPG. Haven't checked in town yet only driven it about 60 miles since getting home last week. Have no doubt it will be similar to my previous P car.

It can vary down to 18 if driving in heavy stop and go traffic. But my normal drive conditions even around town are better than most for good MPG.
