Thanks all. I think I did it right. Went slightly higher than all the way to the bottom.

This may be against the grain but if I were to do it again, I would go for the lighter weight instead. The medium is a good weight but I personally feel it over powers the stiffness of the OEM shifter itself in a bad way. It kinda muddies/numbs the shift when it enters each gate.

To me, the OEM shift **** being so light feels a little crisper going into each gate, albeit a bit hollow feeling.

But no matter what you choose, it will all be much heavier than the OEM ****
I have the Medium weight also and completely agree. Having said that - I am still using the Medium. Looks so good. I also have it slightly higher than the lowest position setting.

What are the specs you ordered? I bought one on here that has blue lettering and just don't know that it's worth me installing since it's so random in my car.

You can always reach out to on the Sportshifter site and ask them how much they would charge to send a different coin. I doubt it would cost much and believe it is just a screw that holds it on.

My first set of Goodyears lasted 20k miles. I'm on PS4S now and at 20k miles it still feels fine. Going into my 40k service on Wednesday so they will def report back on tread depth.

Sport shifter makes the best shifter for the 911
I am happy with mine, my dad likes his for his gt3, simply beautiful craftsmanship.

@SA_992SMT, this is exactly what we were talking about via text the other day. Thanks for the insight @woobiee.

I personally had Exclusive Option redo my OEM shift ****/boot since I preferred the OEM shifter aesthetic and weight.

….I’m about to make a revision though:

The shift gate (red dot area) will be black leather with the embossed 7 speed shift pattern/numbers, the ring and the base (green dot areas) in Alcantara instead of the current black leather, and with the perforated black leather showing through the base (yellow dot area) instead of the current Alcantara.

Shoot...forgot it had blue leather in the windows. I'll just let it sit in the garage longer

I used medium weight **** but www.sportshifters.com and then the Porsche OEM Short Shift kit from the GT/GTS models as a retrofit. Perfect.

I took my first drive today after installation and while I'm not sure I'd go so far as to say I'm "shocked" at the difference, it is quite substantial and very welcome. I did not think it would make this much of a difference but it does. It just feels great. Much more purposeful shifts and what you'd expect from a car at this level. For whatever it's worth, I weighed mine and it was 307 grams with the little wrench inside.

Special thanks to @woobiee and @paradocs98 for the inspiration. Roy is wonderful and help pin my design down and gently steered me away from going too crazy with colors and combos. In the end I decided to go close to stock and am happy with it. Hopefully I didn't leave out anything:

Just curious... medium weighted **** paired with which numeric spring size: 2mm (stiffer) or 1.5mm (softer) spring?

I have the heavy weight set at the lowest it would go. Bought from a forum member so I didn't have to wait lol. Probably would have done medium but very happy with it anyway.
