My MY2024 GT3T freeze date moved up from 6/28 to 6/21. Production should start on 7/4 and is expected to be delivered on 9/1.

My freeze point also went to 7.25, but the other direction, originally 6.29... Now looking at November delivery. Third time the freeze date has changed.

My 2024 is currently in Baltimore, but won’t be unloaded until the boat hits Jacksonville. I close on a house on the 3rd, so hoping to get my car the 4th or 5th.

Curious if I got the new badges and they didn’t send a 4th pic so not sure if I hit the tire lotto either…

My original build start date was 8/28, which would have been right after the shutdown. That later changed to a start date before the August shutdown and a completion date just after, which would have meant my car was sitting on the production floor at some stage. I would think that Porsche would “empty” the production line during shutdown for annual maintenance, but maybe the cars are not in the way for that. And about three weeks ago, the freeze date moved from July to late June with build start and end dates that are now 7/18 and 7/29 - 12 days overall. From my experience and the posts on this thread, I wonder if Porsche is juggling dates based on parts availability.

Based on what my GM said about badges/decals being applied in the Exclusive Manufaktur area (which is swamped), perhaps none of the production pictures ever show badges if they are applied when the car is otherwise complete. You might check one of the threads where people have posted their production pics to see if any stripes or decals are visible. Good luck on badges and tires!

My freeze date even since last Friday was shown to be 7/16. However, when I checked this morning, it said my freeze date already occurred on 7/11. My dealer said I am still able to make some adjustments as freeze date is different from lock date. But anyways, in my mind my build is locked and now I can finally be at peace! lol

What is interesting is the neodyme decals I had on my car is on stop order. I guess if there is any parts shortage, this would be the one to have. Delivery is currently scheduled for late November

My freeze date was June 26, which I assumed was when I could no longer make changes (like you - what a relief, I didn't have to keep looking at my spec every day). But there was a another date (7/11) called "03 of 11: Your manufacturing process of your Porsche is starting soon." Maybe that is the date before which your dealer said some changes can be made. I assume at this step (3/11), the just-in-time parts, options, paint color, etc. are locked into the computer for production, which in my case starts on 7/19 and end on 7/28, which is a bit different from a couple days ago (7/18 and 7/29). I'm going to start taking screen shots of TYD!

I might have mentioned it previously on this thread, but my car was kicked back to V100 in early May with the explanation: "Feasibility Check Failed", because the small model designation on the door panels was not available, with the subsequent explanation that the Exclusive Manufaktur department where these and other decals are applied was overbooked. Once removed, the order moved forward, and I will be able to order the decals from the Parts department, and for small decals the service department can do the installation.

@AtTheGlen You're correct, I believe "lock date" is v250 aka your manufacturing process of your Porsche is starting soon and I am at v210.

Seems excessive for exclusive manufacture to be in charge of all decals, figured there is a template tool that you place on the car and you affix the decals. Anyways, little problem if that is all that I have to worry about. Really want to make sure I get PCCBs and those don't fall on stop order like it did a few months back.

Sounds like the process has sped up since 3 years ago. I had an early MY21 build (built in the summer of 2020), it arrived to the US in early-September (IIRC) but didn't take delivery until late-December due to governmental nonsense in approving the new models (despite no significant changes). Of course, that was at the height of Covid and nothing was happening in any bureaucratic organizations.

My dates pushed out

GTS CAB, MY24
Original --> New
7/14 --> 10/23 (freeze)
9/4 --> 11/7 (build start)
11/4 --> 1/12/24 (delivery)
Same commission number.
Allocation was V200, then when I finalized the build at dealsership last weekend - went to V100. I was told due to PDCC not being available. Was promised 10/27 delivery if I dropped PDCC option which I didnt. Was told that PDCC was short supply and they were prioritizing Turbos.
The SA then got to work with production planning manager (Atlanta) and factory (Stuttgart) and 4 days later, PDCC was accepted, with new dates (2 month delay).
I was told that I was the first GTS with PDCC. I dont know if that first GTS CAB or first GTS for MY24. I find it extremely unlikely that no one ordered PDCC on GTS before.

Thoughts? Anyone else heard of that (PDCC) or order that on their GTS or S or Base models in the recent past?

My 2024 is on the same boat, heading to JAX. Hopefully they get the EPA certifications resolved soon so I can schedule the PEC-ATL pickup for late Aug-early Sept.......
