I like your tint, I am going to do 50% too. Were you happy with your installer?

I used GlasWerks for all my ppf / ceramic, detailing needs. They are awesome, I didn’t get a quote on the Targa rear window for tint as I prefer that clear look, especially when the top is down. I know they car do the job though, probably will be on the higher price side, but they stand behind their work and so that’s why I’ve chosen to go with them for my cars.

@MontBlanc911 If you want a reputable tint place and a fair price for xpel ceramic tints, and Annapolis isn't too far for you, give Tint MD a call. IIRC it'll be $750 including windshield, $450 without. Their pricing is on the wall, no quotes after asking you what kind of car it is.

They look much better without the privacy option in my opinion. The glass is not actually clear but has a nice light greenish tint to it, rather like a pair of raybans, which I think is really attractive.

That's who will do my Targa if it ever gets out of the dealership

Just today;

Removed: xpel ceramic 55% on side windows

Replaced with: llumar ceramic 35% on side windows.

hmmm… can’t see too much of a difference in pictures but definitely in person yes.

windshield and rear glass: No tint yet but planning to go for 70% windshield and 50% targa rear glass next week.

Or shall I just do without them?

I had the rear and side windows of my Targa tinted at 35% at Pure Auto in Mississauga, and the work took about 2 hours. The total cost was $500 for the rear and $200 CAD for the sides. The installation was professionally done and the results were impressively clean. One interesting note is that the rear windows, which already had a slight factory tint, appear a bit darker than the sides, even though both are tinted at 35%.
