after a very long awaiting my Gts targa was delivered but unfortunately is spending more time at the Porsche dealer then in my hand...
car showed immediately many Squeaks/Rattles coming from the back and many from the dashboard ...
some of the noises in the back cover the sound of the engine
went to the dealer, got it back with nothing sorted.
my lawyer sent a complain to Porsche and now is back in the garage for more check ups
I went for a drive with the mechanic and he admitted the car sounds like a 200K km old car ...
quality of Porsche build has lowered soooo much !
no Squeaks/Rattles in my 964 !
this is why I got rid of both my 2019 and 2022 Targas. It's just such a complicated assembly it causes lots of noise. The main one that covers the engine sound is actually from a known failure in a speaker mount, in case your dealer can't figure it out.
Sorry to hear of your issues. My 992 Cab has no squeaks and rattles. I wouldn't pass blanket judgement with one data point.
Ditto ^
I feel your frustration but my 2018 991.2 Cab & 2022 992 Targa have no rattles, buzzing or loud bangs. The approach to my garage is over cobblestones and it's really quiet... could just be lucky but I think the build quality has been good.
