992 C2S Allocation Issue
I joined a waitlist on a 992 C2S last year, when the dealer promised with an MSRP price. After one year of wait, they told me that all allocations now are plus a dealer mark up of 15k to 50k. I complained and they refunded my deposit. Anyone has any suggestion on how to get my allocation back?

You never had an allocation to begin with. There's nothing to get back. You had a deposit for a place in line for a waitlist.
Sadly, it's not unusual for people waiting and wanting to pay MSRP to be passed over for someone willing to pay ADM, various VIPs, long time customers, etc. Basically, there's a whole bunch of people that can and will cut in line in front of you.

You can't get back what you never had to begin with.
You could, I suppose, get "back" your spot on that mythical (yes, mythical) waitlist of yours, but then even at that spot you're still going to have to agree to some ADM -- be it 15k, 50k, or whatever.
Or, you could buy used. Or, you could go buy another marque.
Your move.
Good luck. Sometimes being a grown up hurts.

Such is the market today, it's a mess. Best to go to another dealer and get on their list. My guess is that this dealer took you out of the market by putting you on their list at MSRP, never intending to deliver. I say that because I think my dealer may be doing the same to me, but its only been two months so I can't judge for sure. But get on a list someplace, because if something turns in the economy and the apple cart gets flipped, things can change quickly and you want to be on a list somewhere when it does.

That stinks, although one small silver lining is that they could have been even more vicious and just kept your deposit and stringing you along with no intention of ever honoring your place in line...or at least until this seller's market turns some.
At least you have your deposit back and you can hunt around for either a CPO car or another dealer who will hopefully be more honorable.

I hate saying this, but if you really really want the car I would call back and offer the $15k ADM. Porsche is raising prices and have indicated there are more increases to come. If you can get an ICE 911 with a $15k adm and lock your price in, that’s not the end of the world.

Seems there are many stories (including mine) of dealers promising MSRP and then (after a long wait) the call comes..."we have an allocation but we will need an ADM" ... Slimy car salesmen
I reluctantly agreed to the ADM and to this day I still regret it....still pisses me off
