Tire rack recommends an 11 inch wide rear wheel for the 992. I’m not too concerned about offset since I can use spacers, but any issue with 11” rear vs 11.5? I know the 305 width won’t be an issue since the factory 997 wheel was 11” with 305 tires.

Why do you want to go narrower? I’d only consider 11.5” wheels or go up to 12”. Some posts I’ve even seen 12.5 and 13” wheels.

I don’t necessarily want to, it’s more what’s available. Found a killer deal on a set of aftermarket wheels off a 992 that are 11” rear. After doing more research it appears that some OE 992 wheels are 11” ET66 as opposed to 11.5” ET67.

Yes, the winter wheels have that size and offset supposedly to throw less crap on car during yucky weather.
