Default WeatherTech mat fit

I went to order some mats from them and to my surprise they do not have custom fit mats for the GTS based on their model drop down product selector. They do, however, have custom fit mats for the 2022 base Carrera. I'm thinking the floorboard configuration is the same on the base 992 and 992 GTS but wonder if any of you know different...or have even tried their mats in a 2022 or 2023 GTS?

TIA

Contact the company. I suspect you're right and floors are the same, but worth a call. I plan to buy a set myself for my T, so save question.

It should be the same mat. Interiors are identical.

I use these Truffle Brown Porsche mats from Suncoast and they are fantastic and match my interior perfectly.

Base and GTS fits are the same. I have them in my 2022 GTS and they fit perfect.

I second the Porsche OEM winter mats, really nice product and not expensive.. I think much better than the weathertek in this case.

I prefer weathertek for the protection they provide. I'm super OCD and want my interiors to always be clean. But with these mats, I don't worry about tracking in a few grains of sand in any given Sunday trip because they catch everything. Especially around the back of the pedals where my Audi OEM winter mats do not protect. I take the mats out when I get home and can easily wash them off. Rinse and repeat.

I agree Adam. Many workable choices but I've been a WeatherTech man for many, many cars. Once you've tried mats from them...well...IYNYN. As for calling the company, I did and they were very little help. I think I'm going to order a set and just return them if they don't fit well; I'll report back here.

Thanks for the responsees.

I just cross-referenced the part numbers and found them on Amazon (ie, free returns if necessary). Here you go...

I used OEM winter carpet during 2 winters. They are very nice but not perfect for real winter conditions. Now I use Tuxmat. It’s a full protection like the Weathertech and the fit is really perfect without the “ plastic feel”.

A second vote for TuxMat. I've got them on my 992 4S and they fit impeccably. Much better than Weathertech.

Not that WeatherTech mats look great, but from pictures those Tux mats look horrible to me. I'm sure they serve the purpose though. In other news, the base Carrera mats arrive today so I will post how they fit the GTS later tonight.

Mats just arrived. For those that care, the base Carrera mats from 2022 model year (drop down selection on the WeatherTech website) fit the GTS perfectly. The website would lead you to believe the mats do not fit the GTS. These fit and look even better than the pictures.

WeatherTech mats look OK and would be a bit more protective of carpeted areas than the Porsche winter mats. But that WeatherTech logo has got to go. Fortunately, that's an easy fix: https://drewsdecals.com/product/pors...t-domed-badge/

I agree but they don't bother me too much. I take the mats out for date night and put the carpet back in. Still, for only $10, I guess I have to order the Porsche stickers. Thanks for the link
