for those who own a 911 (or soon to be owner), what's your daily driver?

Just got rid of my F150 King Ranch 4x4 DD and replaced it with a BMW X5 M60.

For street:
I absolutely love driving the 911, but, as crazy as it sounds….the IS500 with the V8 and exhaust, is almost as rare. I get thumbs up and compliments, almost equally. I drive the **** out of the 500 - kids sports, road trips, etc - and I do, enjoy every second of it. I did the exhaust with electronic valves, so the exhaust notes/tones are fully controlled by the push of a button.
Track: 911 destroys, no comparison.

‘24 T on order (March delivery)
‘23 GLE53 as daily
That being said, I’ve been in Texas for a year now and already want to trade in the Benz in for a lifted truck (I’m an accountant and I live in the ‘burbs).

I find this to be a strange comment and don't see how a GT3 could be more comfortable driving than an M2. I have an M2C, and I find it to be an awesome mostly everyday car, especially compared with my GT4, which I love, but not for a DD. I also have an older Audi S4 that goes anywhere, anytime, but my daughter recently absconded with it to college, so I put all-season tires on the M2C, and I'm gonna tough it out all winter.

My M2 competition was definitely a more daily driver-like ride than my C2, interesting how there are differences of opinion on this.

My 992 911S replaced my track car which was a 2020 Mustang GT 5.0 Coyote. There was absolutely nothing I could do to that car, to make it sound anything like the Lexus V8. I personally feel the VooDoo 5.2 GT350 and the 5.0 Lexus V8 are on equal levels as far as sound quality goes. Yamaha tuning the Lexus, and the flat-plane 5.2, are absolutely glorious when they get raked out at 3K+ up to redline.

I really love it. Totally different rides. M3 sometimes feel like it wants to kill me, Targa is so refined and smooth. The build quality and technology of the M3 is the best in any BMW I've had to date (I previously owned an E90 and F30), but the Porsche is my fave.
