Default Roof rack compatible?

Can someone confirm if my 23 C4S is roof rack compatible? I pealed back the protective rubber and found this. The pieces looked plastic esk so I'm leaning towards no as videos I have seen they are metal.

Let me know your thoughts.

Unfortunately this was not my allocation and when the original buyer did not/could not close I pounched and took immediate delivery of the car. I've checked my window sticker and that option is not listed but was hoping for it being standard at this price tag.

I have seen aftermarket options like seasucker as an alternative which does not seem so bad if not even preferred as it comes on and off easily when not needed.

someone did a YouTube video of how to prep your roof for cargo bars, doesn't look hard IIRC

If the specs do not say something like preparation for roof transport $60, then you don't have the option. This used to be included automatically if you selected either of the sunroofs but it became a stand alone option in 2022. I have this option but prefer to use the seasucker b/c I don't want to keep putting on and off the roof rack and the seasucker takes literally 5 minutes to install:

OK confirmed, no option selected on MY23 car. Oh well!

The seasucker look great and will order before the season! The manufacturer videos make it out to be really easy and secure to install. Hopefully that's been your experience.

Yes. There's a video of a dude doing a full gymkhana drift circuit w/ bikes held on w/ the seasucker rack and it ain't budging. I've driven up to about 90 mph and no problems at all. I also like the lower profile nature of the mounting which lets me drive in and out of the garage and virtually all parking structures without worrying that the bike will get ripped off the roof.

Perfect, sounds like a perfect solution without a huge price disparity when having that roof transport system prepped from the factory!

Thanks everyone for the quick responses and confirmation of the seasucker system!
