I’m well in my 60’s and still love the 911. Haven’t owned one in a while. My main issues are ingress/egress and ride comfort. The Porsche would not be my daily driver. My current daily is the S560 which I find very comfortable.
I am thinking about the 992 Targa 4 or Targa 4S as my occasional weekend car as it is apparently higher than the the other 911’s and the targa 4 has 19/20” wheels for better ride comfort.
Would love to hear peoples thought on the comfort aspect of the targa vis a vis ingress/egress and ride comfort. I realize this is highly subjective and this is a sports car after all… but its hard to tell from just a test drive.
The Targa should be easier to get into and out of than the hardtop when the top is tucked away: you can use the corner of the windshield and A frame as a balance and leverage point.
