A person driving a race car doesn’t need an umbrella

I've had that little Porsche umbrella ready in its pocket for over a year. I've never used it once, nor have any of my passengers. And I'm in Seattle.

It just doesn't come to mind when you're quickly getting in/out of the car in a downpour.

Still, it looks cool ;-)

FYI, I purchased this one off of ebay - I had found reference to it on one of the umbrella threads. It's a little too big in all dimensions and sometimes interferes with closing the passenger door.

that looks like the one from the 991, which would explain the dimensions being off.

the 992 umbrella is slightly revised to fit the new sill cubby.

Better than that , what is the hook on back of seat for? I thought one day I would leave my sport coat on a hanger ....does not accept hanger.
The jacket has a little loop; no good.... I have had five 911s since 2008....all have same little hook behind headrest. lol

I actually use that hook quite a lot for blazers or suit jackets. Hanging it using the loop sewn at the top of the jacket works way better than just folding my jacket and laying it on the seat as it invariably ends up on the floor due to my “spirited” driving style . Even with the top down on my 4S Cab it never blows around or falls off for me

That Umbrella looks about as useful as the fire extinguisher
