Default Factory protective front foil

Hi

I’m a week away from the freeze date for a 992 GTS.

http://www.porschecode.com/PRAQ2RS8

I’m just deciding on the factory installed protective front foil, a $5k AUD option.

Does anyone have any recent experience of this and the quality of the install please? Any advice appreciated!

Many thanks

If you have a good detailer doing ppf, I would highly recommend to do after market.
OEM ppf is precut, meaning you will see the line of ppf on the side. A ppf installer can fold it under so you won’t see the difference. Also after ppf, get a ceramic coating for easy maintenance. It should be less expensive that OEM.
My 991.2 GT3 came with factory ppf and I getting it replaced soon as I can see dirt or lift of ppf on side which doesn’t look good.

this option is not made in the factory but at a installer in the corner of Stuttgart. Avoid because the quality and the realization is not great.
