Default Anyone tired the license plate wrap?

Says it’s dmv approved.

https://licenseplatewrap.com

I’m considering it.

pretty cool if your local cops are hell-bent on enforcing a front plate law, thankfully for me they aren't.

Depends on your state, but in most states it’s illegal to display a reproduced a license plate. Plus it looks so ugly, even worse than the actual plate.

As the OP stated, it is legal in California, therefore it's legal anywhere in the US as long as it's a California registered car.

And it looks identical to the actual traditional plate, except it contours exactly to your front bumper, not sure how that makes it uglier? I vastly prefer it to the regular plate, and if I lived in the parts of California that seem to enforce a front plate it would be my definite choice. Here in the central valley of California I've never used a front plate and never had a legal issue.

Legal or not, it doesn't mean you won't get stopped if you're in another state that doesn't allow it, especially if you're not in a state adjacent to California and there's a greater chance that a cop hasn't seen anything like it before. In that case it might look pretty sketchy and cause a cop to pull you over to investigate.

Hell I had a cop pull me over once when I was following my wife in her car because he thought we had identical tags - they were actually sequential because I got the tags for both cars at the same time.

Carbonio. No thanks to an awful sticker.

I like it.

Too bad I could not get it done for IL for when I send my car out to CA for the Winters.

When your car has plates from a state that doesn’t require front plates do you travel to a state that requires a front plate and get pulled over or ticketed? No. These sticker plates are legal for cars registered in CA, so when driving in every single state they’re legal for cars registered in CA.

There’s a difference between running without a front plate in a state that requires them even if the state the car is registered in doesn’t require them - and running a plate that looks fake or appears to have been mutilated or altered regardless of where the car is registered in
