I think the majority of people will have the clear, as I think Soul just came out with the smoked recently - so was not available when the majority got theirs.
I have a Jet Black targa with the clear tail lights as well. So the clear looks great on the front.. The smoked would as well, I assume.
I’m looking for an opinion on smoked vs clear side markers - pictures showing the difference between the two would be awesome.
My GT Silver GTS will be here in under 2 months, and I would like to get a set ordered - just don’t know if I should go with smoked or clear.
If members from the group could post pictures of a GT Silver 992 with smoked, and clear it would be much appreciated.
Thank you!
Here’s a great pic from Soul’s website showing all 3 (Amber, Clear & Smoked) side by side. I’m planning on doing Smoked on my Gentian Blue ‘23 Turbo S Cab when it arrives at the end of April, and at $97.50 they’re a great price point versus OEM.

Great, thank you for the resource. I may go with clear since GT Silver is so much lighter than GB. I do think smoke looks great on dark colors, but on GT Silver it may be too much contrast.
Here is a picture of the stock amber that my PPF guys smoked out for me. It was nice of them but I already had clears from last car sitting in garage. Happy to sell the smoked Ambers if anyone wants them?

The smoked ambers look better than standard, but the clears are so much better. I’m going to go with clear.
I love the GT3 rims, I wish those were an option for the GTS… I guess I just have to wait for my name to get to the top of the GT3 list.

That’s a wonderful looking car!
You cant go wrong IMO with clears look good on any color.
I had CL on my GTS and loved those too! GT3 is awesome but for street use I really liked the GTS.
post some pics!!
I ordered my Porsche in Lava Orange so the amber marker lights look like they belong.
I bought my car in white so the colored marker lights would stand out (joke), maybe its just me (or maybe its Maybelline?) but clear marker lights look boring and generic to me on white cars, especially considering I can count on most everyone else to bandwagon into clear or now smoked markers. I'm a gundam enthusiast though so that probably contributes to my need for more than one color on a car...

For those of you who purchased and installed the ones from Soul, how are the connection and fit? I was about to order an OEM set from Suncoast but then saw this thread. I just don't want to sacrifice connection or fit to save a few dollars.

Someone posted in the last two weeks of a knockoff set from flat6 and it was filled with condensation.
But we’ve also seen factory tail lights filled with condensation, and everyone said that’s normal, but I disagreed with that.

Thank you. Yes, I saw that - only adding to my concern. If there's no difference between the Soul and Suncoast examples, great. Otherwise, just not worth the savings to me.

Yup that was me...Flat6 response was "Normally the condensation clears itself after a few hours in the sun.." Which, yes it did. But wasn't really the point.
