Targa allocation and asking MSRP

Targa allocation and asking MSRP
Hello All ! Before I go to the dealership and ask for a Targa GTS allocation for MSRP, I want to find out if its a realistic expectation, in the current market.
I am not in rush and can wait for the car to arrive.
Thank you !!

seek and ye shall find; just go and ask. Matters not what people say here.

At this point, I think their is a fair chance that the wait time for a Targa at MSRP will be longer than the remaining production cycle for the 992.1. So I guess it depends on how well you can wait for the car to arrive.

1) where are you? now that dealers are all geo-sensitive location matters more than ever
2) go ask around and let us know what you hear. I can tell you in Los Angeles thats not realistic for any car you'd see in the next year but people have had MUCH better luck elsewhere.

Super excited to soon be in the 911 family after driving a Macan GTS for the past 5 years. Here is my build in case anyone has any suggestions. This will be my first 911 and my daily driver not a "racer". https://configurator.porsche.com/porsche-code/PPNNKVG8
My dealer had 2 clients ahead of me last week for an allocation for a Targa GTS; I added ED to my build and that put me in 1st position (as well as dropped the ADM of $15,000) as the other 2 did not spec that. An allocation came in today so I got the first chance at a May build! The bittersweet part is that will be too soon for ED to be included. No ADM even though I had to agree to ED to be at the top of the list in order to waive the ADM.

Thank you for the suggestion. I will try this route as well !
