They gotta pay for all those Super Bowl commercials.

This is what I keep telling them when they ask for feedback. There is not a service member alive that doesn’t know about USAA. We don’t need Super Bowl commercials. We need the old USAA back.

Hi, reviving this older thread to ask about USAA's "Car Replacement Assistance" coverage, which pages you an additional 20% of the ACV if car is declared a total loss.

Thoughts on this? Maybe 20% not enough? For ref, I have a 2022 2SMT cabriolet.

Thanks.

And btw, I'm with USAA currently and yes it feels like their rates have gone up a lot. I'm in MD and I'm paying $941 every 6 months. This includes the Car Replacement Assistance coverage for @ $95/6 months and a $1000 deductible.

Maybe I need to shop around? I recall I did long ago in my BMW days and could not beat USAA when bundled with home, umbrella, etc.

Thanks.

Yes shop around they are not like they use to be. I have not had USAA beat others in a long time. I am currently with Erie. I have home, auto, and umbrella with them.

Only thing to consider about USAA is that if you ever have a claim they pay fast and they are very easy to deal with. Sometimes having the cheapest is not always the best if the company you are paying for doesn’t have your back when you need them. I have 20% replacement on all of my cars.
