Now you've convinced me that your on the wrong forum.
Wife has a 2023 range Rover Evoke and the transmission is mush. Paddle shifting is a joke!
Say goodbye to the group pal before you totally embarrass yourself. No reply needed. And BTW. Guards Red seat belts and red calipers on a Carmine Red car is a total mismatch... Ucking Fugly.
You may not be able to sell it.

Nice thorough write up-I also got the Burmester and think it is day and nite better than the Bose. I got a Macan for a loaner which had the Bose (Bose has more watts in the Macan than the 911) and could hear the a definite difference right away.
Best of luck-I also got the S which imho the best option for street driving.

OP, congrats on your new ride. RE: ride quality, changing the tire pressure to "comfort setting level" really helps. Also, I do feel the difference between Normal/Sport/Sport+. Especially since Sport mode turns off the "Auto Start/Stop" and likes to rev higher. Enjoy your beautiful C2S!

The PDK is a completely different transmission from just about anything else. And so smooth I would say when not in a manual mode, it is about as close to the linear delivery of an EV as anything given how well it shifts.
However, while I respect the length of the review and what not, a week with a 992 is not nearly enough time for a good review of the driving characteristics and feel of the car, especially during the break in period. Options and other attributes, sure, but you want to really know the performance, handling, etc., that will only come with more time. Not just miles, but time too.

To say don’t notice a difference between Normal, Sport, and Sport+ leads me to believe this car doesn’t exist.

You comment on the "softer suspension" in the Base - did you get SPASM on this car? Just because its an S, doesn't mean it has SPASM included.

I will comment about the programming of PDK transmission. I know all the mechanical parts of dual clutch gearbox and have owned couple of other cars with such transmission. I just do not like how PDK is programmed in 992 generarion. In normal mode and that is how I drive during heavy traffic it is prone to upshoft to the highest gear and the engine starts labouring at 1000 rpm. Although I know the remedy, like shift to other modes or to manual mode I do not won’t to bother with this when I am just driving to/from my work. I have not observed such poor programming with other iterations of PDK.

Congratulations on your first Porsche! A few comments on your review:
PDLS+ - I am surprised you don't find the lights bright. IMO, they are the brightest lights out of all the cars I have and all of my cars have some form of xenon or LED lights. Also, my PDLS+ lights swivel like crazy and the slightest turn of the steering wheel and even more so when in sport or sport+ mode. It is extremely noticeable. The fact that you don't notice it at all makes me wonder if yours are functioning properly.
18 way seats not supportive - I have 4 way sport+ seats which I find to be very supportive. Your 18 ways should be even more so b/c you can adjust the side and thigh bolsters to be even more narrow. Maybe you are super skinny? As you indicate the 14 ways are nowhere near as supportive and I found that the 14 ways felt as supportive as sitting on a park bench, i.e. no support at all.
Differences btw normal/sport/sport+ - Surprised you don't feel and hear much difference. I notice the difference btw the various modes. It's not glaringly obvious like on my M3, but it is definitely noticeable, particulary from the standpoint of exhaust sound and suspension ride comfort. But honestly, the car is stiff even in normal mode with S-PASM. I found the base Carrera w/ PASM to have a much better overall balance btw ride and handling... though it looked way too high for my tastes.
Congrats again your car. It's very nicely spec'd and looks great! I like the silver that comes w/ the carbon trim as I think black interiors definitely need a bit of shine since all the stock trim pieces are dark gray.

I kept the stock PDLS and did not get the PDLS+. I was on the fence about this option, spending the extra $$ on the swiveling and other functions. Ultimately while I think it would have been great, I just don't drive my car that much at night but I still would have like to have the functionality. It would be nice to see Porsche adopt PDLS+ as the base light for the 992.2.

I have 18 way seats and am 5'11" and 160lbs, so fairly skinny, and find them very supporting and quite adjustable.

Had them on my 991.2 and while it was novel, it really didn't aid vision enough to add the cost in my experience. Also, one of mine went bad and the cost to replace was well over $3000 (thankfully covered under CPO warranty). I passed on my current build.

Try 30psi front, 33 rear. It's a little more firm that the recommended "Comfort" settings of 29/32. Make sure to choose the "Comfort" setting on the PCM.

The OP mentioned the car rolling on an incline. My PDK has a hold function on hills which seems to activate when I come to a complete stop with pressure on the brake. There is even a light that illuminates when this happens.

Careful you don’t drop pressures too low in the name of ‘comfort’ and start blowing out sidewalls and bending those very expensive center locks on crappy city roads. Everything is a compromise.
