Big thanks to the guys at FedEx that pushed the new engine out of customs after 5 days of sitting! Big thanks to Ft Wayne Porsche for doing their best and still trying to get this done correctly. Matter is far from over and is out of my hands and letting the Professional rectify the issues. Pictures are cool! Porsche Sent a long block so it's more like 19 hrs to swap!!
She made it home! Thanks to the staff and Ft Wayne Porsche for doing their best and being very kind! thanks for the gifts!! She purred like a cat the whole way home!!
Best wishes to you and the technicians doing this work. Interesting photos, there is another thread running about the spark plug changes - where can you even see them in these photos?

Im thinking selfishly here, but any chance you can have them take a pic of the valve connections to assist those in the car graphic group buy?
The first engine failed and the replacement is a long block. Long block (See Photo above) means everything from the failed engine will be moved to the new long block.

I'm really happy that this is finally being resolved. Thank goodness. And I don't want to drag this down. But I can't help myself from commenting. Don't praise FedEx for this. It's not that the engine was 'sitting in customs' for 5 days. It's more likely it took them 5 days to get off their asses and transmit/post the entry and DOT/EPA filing when it should have been done at wheel's up and fully released on arrival.
When the cases get split open we will find the issue/failure point. Porsche wants to know the root cause of the failure. Hope we get those images!!
Would be great if you could let Porsche AG know before Next friday... my 992 T goes into build phase in a week, and I'd love for them to correct the issue by then LOL

PCNA you'd think would be more interested but that's not the case. Nothing to see here. PCNA is full of a lot of "Sorry" and that's why I have the "Professionals" AKA "Ohio Hammer" on the case.
