The only thing I hear, or have ever heard on my previous 911.2 cab and current 992 Targa, is the click when I shift my JQ Werks paddles.

A little WD-40 should fix that.

I'm lucky for sure but empathize with your frustration!

I have this also! Does it sound like this video I took?

It's so annoying it's put me off the car completely & OPC still can't figure what's causing it... It's on my driver side front, funnily enough during the cold spell in the UK, it disappeared when the car was frozen over...

I have a whistle (Cabriolet) that is coming from the driver’s side mirror. Fold in the mirrors and see if this makes a difference.

Doesn't make a difference unfortunately.

The 992 is a rattle box, no doubt about it.

That is a genuine Porsche failing, I’m afraid, and there is no excuse for it. I’ve heard it on my 911 and even a brand new Taycan that I once test drove

I don't agree with this... lots of cars with VERY stiff suspensions that don't have rattles. Rattles are entirely about interior build quality. My C8 Corvette had no rattles, my GT4 had no rattles, my M3/M2/M4's had no rattles. All were similarly firm like the 911. Having said all of that, my 911 doesn't have a rattle at the moment either (knock on wood) but it does seem much more prevalent than other cars and speaks to the attention Porsche paid (or did not pay) to how they put together the interior trim pieces.
