Having purchased both new and CPO, there’s really no difference. It’s pretty great. You are very much part of the Porsche family either way.
That being said, those of us who took delivery of early MY2020 992s got a crap ton of swag in the mail. Books, pens, shirts, models. For the first 4-5 months of ownership, there was something new in the mail every few weeks. It was a different era without ADM and waitlists. Porsche was working to earn your love back then.

We ordered a Panamera Turbo years ago and were invited to a launch party at the PEC. It was not worth the drive down to the airport, will not attend another one.

I had heard or read that 911 buyers got a free session at PEC but maybe that was a specific dealership perk. My dealership gave me a $2000 credit towards a portrait painting, like I’m 18th century royalty.

Just bought a 22 C4S, had the car shipped never saw it IRL. Dealer included little goodie bag with two new fobs and a hat. Little stuff but honestly didn’t expect anything. Oh and a thank you card from SA in the glove was nice. New all season mats included (requested) and nice to see a new slime bottle and non-cup holder center console insert in frunk. Also original window sticker. I know these are typically expected, but I’m sure a lot of barely used cars could have stuff “misplaced”.
In terms of more substantial swag or events, value of both are highly subjective imo. I personally think the key difference is the stuff you’re not asking about…ability to spec and warranty > new in cases. I can get over it having a few k miles don’t view it as a problem provided car is mint.

New: Ability to spec to what I want is huge plus. Waiting forever...less so much a plus.

CPO: Warranty, but also unknown concerns on the car itself, but CPO is very good.
Just curious about the stuff we rarely discuss.

Now that I remember, I bought my CPO Cayman without seeing it in person. It was delivered to my house on a trailer from 500 miles away. Inside was a reusable shopping bag with a hat and a genuine Porsche accessory key chain. In the frunk was the original window sticker laminated. When I picked up my new ordered Macan, I got nothing.

I picked up my new to me 2022 C4 CPO today!
Extras: 2 caps, 2 key fobs, one diecast 911
Best extra was a movie trailer of the car with my name and my wife's name in the credits. Good for some smiles. Very cool. Not like buying a Chevy!![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
